Ocean breezes and sunny skies enticed my family from Canada to Melbourne in 2000.  It was the best decision we ever made! Brevard County is Florida’s best kept secret.  We have excellent schools, an extensive arts community, shopping galore, outdoor pursuits of every kind, and of course, sunshine almost every day. 

During the past 20 years, I have worked as a professional speechwriter, policy analyst, project manager and teacher.  I have degrees in journalism and education, and lived in Nice for a year while learning French. In recent years, I have volunteered in local schools and in the Guardian ad Litem program for abused and neglected children.
